Godless

„Godless“ entstand als dritter Teil einer thematischen Reihe nach „Dictator“ und „Empire“. Der Song schildert eine Welt nach dem Verlust von Glauben, Sinn und Orientierung. Verrostete Symbole, leere Gebete und gebrochene Versprechen prägen eine Realität, in der die Erlösung verschwunden ist und durch Systeme, Bildschirme und digitale Ersatzheiligtümer ersetzt wurde. „Godless“ beschreibt diesen Zustand ohne Trost oder Erlösung – nicht als Befreiung, sondern als Leere. Eine Reflexion über Entfremdung, Verantwortung und die Frage, was bleibt, wenn keine höhere Autorität mehr existiert und die Menschheit sich selbst überlassen ist.
